Ellen Holtzman has established an impressive record of results in complex cases throughout New York State in Family Courts, Supreme Courts, and the Appellate Division. A graduate of New York Law School, she now runs her practice, The Law Office of Ellen B. Holtzman in Rockland County, which covers the full range of Family Law matters. Ellen has successfully represented both men and women in their efforts to obtain custody of their children and handles adoptions, asset distribution, prenuptial agreements, paternity actions, domestic partnerships, post-judgment enforcement, separation, and divorce. While leading a team of top professionals in her private practice, Ellen also makes time to direct legal training for the Family Law and Forensics Program at the Washington Square Institute, lecture on legal ethics, and mentor lawyers who represent battered women in divorce cases. She is a recipient of the Joan E. Ellenbogen Founder’s Award for contributions to the advancement of law and the legal profession and Ellen's election and service as President of the Women's Bar Association of the State of New York added luster to an already distinguished reputation.
